Changing Lanes is a fast rock tune for jazz band. The writing style is heavily influenced by the Rippingtons and their leader Russ Freeman. It uses several fast moving changes that frequently move on the upbeat and change rapidly. The solo section is for Alto Sax 1 and can be repeated to include piano, bass and/or guitar. Auxiliary percussion is highly encouraged! This chart would be a unique addition to the jazz-rock portion of any jazz band concert.
