Bywaters Park was commissioned by the Paris Municipal Band from Paris, Texas to commemorate their 100 year anniversary. Bywaters Park is where they perform on Friday nights during the Summer. During this work, I try to convey several aspects of the park including playfulness, calmness and majesty. There are also quotes from the signature tune from the Paris Municipal band.
