Ballo Matto (Italian for Crazy Dance) is a Grade 5+ composition for concert band. There are challenging parts in all sections. This work calls for a large percussion section with lots of rhythmic colors that help propel this work to a high level of excitement. This work would be a fantastic concert band closer for the upper level concert band.
