Brisa Quinte (Cool Breeze) is a tune written by my good friend and publishing partner, Lester Pack. I first heard this tune with the Twin Towers jazz combo and have really enjoyed playing it over the years. When I began writing big band arrangements, I began to imagine the possibilities using this tune and this arrangement is the result. The tune is a relaxed bossa, with a sweet, simple melody.
