Jazz Revival is a gospel rock/double time tune that is a lot of fun. The tune begins with a medium gospel section with solos in the trombone and tenor sax. Then, some mass improv sets up the double time section, with simultaneous improv in the sop sax, trumpet and tbn. Although soprano sax is preferred, an optional alto part is provided. This tune would make a great finale to any jazz concert. Special thanks to the UAM Jazz Band for crushing this recording!
